An electric scooter company called Bird debuted its service in Kansas City on Wednesday - yet, serious questions remain about the scooters' legality, safety, and liability on city streets and sidewalks. On Wednesday, roughly 100 dockless electric Bird scooters showed up on city sidewalks in Downtown Kansas City, near Union Station, and the 18th and Vine District, ready to rent.

  1. Bike Nazis can rent bikes from stands and ride them on streets, sidewalks, park them where they want, an nobody from the City gets upset at all.

Just bribe "Bike/Walk Kansas City" with more tax money and have them change their name to "Bike/Walk/Scooter Kansas City" and the problem goes away!

    You're welcome, no charge.

  2. Hope blacks are watching. Park these in the hood. Funny. Only problem is requirement for valid credit/debit card to rent. Will limit to maybe 2 hood rats.

  3. Insurance issues will sink this idea soon.

  4. Pick them up and throw them in a dumpster. They are not registered to do business in the city of KCMO. They are not registered with Jackson Co. so they are not paying personal property tax on them. Bold way to start a business in KCMO
