Missed Northland trash routes scheduled for collection Saturday
The city says any missed trash and recycling scheduled for collection on Friday in the Northland will be picked up on Saturday.
I'm new to Kansas City. I know the Fourth of July caused everything to be picked up a day later. But that was over a week ago. I find that the collection of my recyclables gets blown over and then there is crap all over my neighborhood. So, should I take the chance on leaving my recyclables in the garage and getting them out the following day so there isn't shit all over my neighborhood? The items have to be placed in these little bins that don't afford your any protection from being overturned. This is a terrible City service. Kansas City collects much in the way of taxes but delivers little in the way of services. I don't think the minority run city government does a very effective job. Need more of a Trump type of leader. More accountable
