KANSAS CITY SLAUGHTER OF INDIAN STUDENT WHILST SERVING J'S 'CRACK CHICKEN' RESONATES ACROSS GLOBE!!!
Kansas City continue to look for clues and beg the community to come forward as more video evidence emerges in the killing of an Indian computer engineering student at J's - A place famous for seasoned "crack chicken" on Prospect.
Statement from KCPD:
On 07-06-2017 at approximately 1910 Hours, Officers of the Kansas City, Missouri Police Department were dispatched to 5412 Prospect Ave Kansas City, Jackson County, MO on a reported shooting. Upon arrival one male victim was located with apparent gunshot trauma and was transported to an area hospital where he died as a result of his injuries. The male in the brown shirt with white stripes depicted in the video is the suspect.
The victim has been identified as 25-year-old Sharath Kopuu, a student at UMKC who was currently employed by the business where the homicide occurred. His family is in India and have been notified of his death.
Detectives are requesting the public’s assistance with identifying the suspect from surveillance video from the location.
Anyone who recognizes this suspect is encouraged to contact the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS (8477) or through the P3 app or at www.kccrimestoppers.com. A reward of $10,000 is available for information leading to an arrest in this and all homicide cases in Kansas City, Mo.

ReplyDeleteOK now, fair is fair. It's time to call this a hate crime just like the shooting at Austins on Olathe. The deceased is from the same part of the world in both murders. The shooter is from the same part of the world in both cases. The only difference is in one instance it was a stupid white guy displaying his racial hatred and in the other it was a stupid black guy. The white guy was tried and convicted (as he should have been) and is in prison for life. The black guy should get the same due process and sentence.
ReplyDeleteOne big difference in these crimes is that in Olathe a white guy jumped up and got shot yet subdued the shooter. In KCMO the black guys in the restaurant just scattered like chickens and nobody saw nuthun'.

ReplyDeleteThis absolutely should be prosecuted a hate crime. It is way, way, past time for black people to be charged with hate crimes. While they're at it they need to find the hate crimes of Jonathan Porter and Jeffery McDonald, two white people murdered in broad daylight by black people.
ReplyDeleteForeign students from India and China are easy pickings for the Hood Sharks. They regularly patrol the area looking for targets. UMKC warns students about the danger when they enroll, but since these attacks don't occur on campus, it's not the University's problem. Sorry for this man's untimely death.

ReplyDeleteWho cares? I thought UMKC was “just a second-rate commuter college” that’s “fleexing the taxpayers for a downtown arts campus”. And don’t forget, UMKC is part of the University of Missouri System, along with Mizzou, aka “Social Justice Warrior” 2015 campus riots, and all that. And look on the UMKC athletics website: the downtown streetcar is a regular advertiser there, ditto for UMKC basketball telecasts. MoDOT’s Joseph Turner has also blogged here about how he attents UMKC basketball at Municipal - the guy you people have this pathological hatred towards.

ReplyDeleteThis is a sad story to be sure. I think what's even worse is that we just ignore it for the most part, life goes on. No tips, no outrage, just business as usual. But I'll tell you one thing for sure, we absolutely NEED to focus more energy on getting this guy off the street before he hurts someone else. THAT's the one thing we can do to day to improve our community.
