Council Dude Scott Taylor Wants To Save Kansas City Just In Time For His Mayoral Run

Another great election season idea from this South Kansas City politico . . .

KC councilman proposes ordinance to establish an affordable housing fund

Kansas City councilman and mayoral candidate Scott Taylor is proposing an ordinance to establish an affordable housing fund for Kansas City. "Affordable housing is obviously really important to our community and we want to make sure we address it before we're a situation like other cities," said Taylor, who represents District 6-at-large.

  1. Where or who is he planning on stealing that money from? I’m tapped out because of bow tie the clown sLIE’s dumbass, besides, isn’t section 8 good enough for these losers

  2. No section 8 is not good enough because the the affordable housing makes it better for poor people but makes the rich richer. People like the developers and the bankers. Democrats like Dunn and all the others love this. In 2017 this has changed and will not be as good for the big developers and bankers to get so rich off of tax credits and exemptions.

  3. Put the Jackson County jail in the caves and turn the current jail in
    to affordable housing.

  4. Gotta love politicians. They always get busy "working for you" right before elections. Afterward it's just "fuck you".

  5. He should take the $300k he got from the unions and crony capitalists in his campaign fund and use that. He is a low energy dud who ain’t gonna be Mayor.
He’s Cathy Jolly’s wife and that’s all he is going to be.

  6. He's voted for every single tax abated project that came before the council. Not one time in any of those deliberations has he voiced concern about impact on affordable housing. Same thing with his east side initiative. Not one damn word in his 8yrs but now he wants to champion it. Bitch please.

  7. Just a really desperate attempt for attention.
The phone at his campaign headquarters is probably constantly ringing these days with lots of these people asking for their money back.
And it wasn't very long ago that the local "reporters" were breathless over all the money he'd raised!
    Bad investment.
