THE WORLD ACCORDING TO CHUCK: #METOO KILLED ANTHONY BOURDAIN!!!

Chuck: How Stormy Daniels Killed Anthony Bourdain and why you're never getting laid again

Some few years ago, I went and observed, with dozens of other looky loos, Anthony Bourdain eat Bar B Que on 85th and Troost. We Hoi Polloi stood shoulder to shoulder in the shade against the wall. Inside the oculus of lights, the luminary, in his luminescence, feasted on the emetically effortless fare, then for sale at BB's Lawnside. Thus, prima facia proof of the scourge of fame. He was then and at his death, a strikingly handsome man, tall with a salt and pepper coiffure and a charisma seemingly born of hardscrabble beginnings and a life before his success on the downside of advantage (So I have read.).

Bourdain was a strident and outspoken supporter of all things Liberal, especially the #metoo movement. Apparently, his girlfriend, Asia Argento, had a years long dalliance with Harvey Weinstein . . . Personally, I believe this was the beginning of Anthony's fall into depression and eventual suicide.

While porking Harvey Weinstein was probably nothing that any self respecting woman would want anyone to know (Now THERE is a "Walk Of Shame".), we live in forgiving times and past sexual peccadilloes with plump, porcine pretenders in search of pecuniary security used to be expected in the Entertainment Industry. Things have changed thanks to the intrepid soldiers in the #metoo movement. However, the identification and qualification of not only the #metoo movement's female and male soldiers, but adherents can make one, in my opinion, cognitively dissonant to the point of suicide.

Think about it. This week, Liberals, who control for the most part, the megaphone in the public square, have vociferously and insistently supported Stormy Daniels, while at the same time, denounced and terminated the Swimsuit Competition in the "Miss America Contest". Even guys like me are confused, standing on the sidelines while famous guys like Damon, Affleck, Baldwin, Clinton twist in the wind as chicks like Rosie O'Donnell demand free birth control. Who in God's name is f*cking Rosie O'Donnell? Chicks in general, have gone from tetchy, to tendentious, to terrifying and men in general are gobsmacked at how fast the offence de jour can be assigned and prosecution implemented.

Bourdain, blessed with good looks, money and a hot girlfriend, got too close to the fire. The confusion and uncertainty became a Cognitive Dissonant Gordian Knot, that he finally slipped around his neck, just to get the fuck away from the noise of the eternal outrage.
