The flag code very clearly addresses what to do when the National Anthem is being played but many blacks think they have the right to not follow that rule either.

Agree completely that no one should disrespect either the Flag or the Anthem.
ReplyDeleteBut I also feel that when someone who claims to be a "Patriot", and is running for Elective Office on that basis, and receives criticism for his disrespectful actions, should be criticized even more.
I assume that you and all those who agree with you will either not attend or will walk out of any Country/Western Concert where one of the "Hat Acts" wears a Flag Shirt or has a Musical Instrument painted as the Flag, and you will leap into the ring to attack any WWF fighter wearing Flag-themed shorts, as well.

I could list many violations of the flag codes, see them every day everywhere. But till the laws are being enforced WTF can you really do.
