  2. There was a City-wide vote to expand the Streetcar?
Had to be, anything else would be illegal!
Guess I must have missed it, what was the result?
Oh, never mind, the City counts the ballots, anything they're for has to have passed!

  5. The streetcar extension to 51st and Main Street was a done deal years ago when the megadevelopment was leased by UMKC to the huge apartment complex, tons of garage parking and the Whole Foods store at 51st and Main. That developer no doubt had a promise from the city or they wouldn't have spent all that money in that location. They knew it would be the end point or turnaround point for the streetcar. Voters don't matter in Kansas City with voter suppression.
