TKC EXCLUSIVE NEWS!!! MISSOURI MEGA LOBBYIST JOHN BARDGETT BLASTS JACKSON COUNTY EXECUTIVE FRANK WHITE IN SCATHING TERMINATION LETTER!!!

The most powerful lobbyist in Missouri recently fumed over professional discourtesy from Jackson County Executive Frank White's office in a letter that savages the communication skills of one of the most popular politicos in Kansas City.

To wit . . .

INTERCEPTED BY BAD-ASS TKC TIPSTERS!!! WE'VE GOT OUR FILTHY HANDS ON A DEVASTATING LETTER FROM LOBBYIST JOHN BARDGETT TO JACKSON COUNTY EXEC FRANK WHITE!!!

For those unfamiliar with Missouri politics, John Bardgett is a titan in Missouri politics known as a consummate-insider & "master choreographer" -- Real talk: Mr. Bardgett is bigger, stronger, better than any elected official because he has been entrusted with government and corporate purse strings which control and influence policy before issues ever comes up for a vote.

Even more interestingly . . .

DEETS OF THE DOX REVEAL ALLEGATIONS OF A SERIOUS BREAK DOWN IN JAXCO COMMUNICATION WITH JEFF CITY AS MILLIONS OF TAXPAYER BUCKS ARE ON THE LINE!!!

As always, BAD-ASS TKC TIPSTERS get first word. Here's the way it looks to our blog community . . .

"For a person as gentlemanly and reserved as John Bardgett to send a letter like this, the situation must be beyond irreparable. Frank's duplicity and "lack of attention to the details of his job" is now going to cost the taxpayers millions of dollars. And nobody at the courthouse, or the Star, seems to bat an eye."

Ironically, we asked Team Frank for a comment on this story and they didn't reply to our request.

NOW TAKE A LOOK AT THE DOX THAT OFFER AN EXCLUSIVE AND REVEAL LOOK AT EXEC FRANK WHITE BEHIND THE SCENES!!!

Because we love you, we've highlighted some of the choice passages. Here's the opening indignation line from Mr. Bardgett:

"In those 39 years, I have never experienced a client refusing to answer simple emails or respond to requests for basic direction on issues important to them. I personally emailed you 2 1/2 weeks ago and expressed my frustration with the lack of communication from the Jackson County Executive's Office on important issues pending in this legislative session. I also asked that you simply send me a termination letter if for some reason you were dissatisfied with my services, or if the county could no longer afford to pay for our services. I still could not get a response.

An alleged precedent in professional conduct from Exec White:

"No one has ever unilaterally decided not to honor our contractual agreement and instead chosen to act as if I and my coworkers didn't exist."

The Jeff City grapevine exposed:

"I began hearing from state legislators that I may no longer be the Jackson County Executive's lobbyist. You can imagine my surprise that I should hear this from state legislators and not from my client directly! I have developed a great deal of respect for you and am frankly quite shocked that you, and more appropriately your staff, would allow you to not extend me the simple professional courtesy of sending me a termination letter or, at a minimum, simply calling me. While I have been keenly aware of the ongoing differences of opinion your administration has been having with members of the county legislature, I have worked hard not to involve myself in any of those discussions. I sincerely hope, for the betterment of Jackson County, that all is resolved soon."

The money line and how a lack of communication could impact Jackson County taxpayers:

"As you and your staff are aware, there are major issues facing Jackson County that are currently pending in the legislature, and there will be for the remainder of this session. Although not finalized, the Sports Authority funding extensions have occurred on the senate floor and in a house committee, and we have been in the middle of those important discussions. We have been actively working to block the ongoing efforts to dramatically reduce the jail funding Jackson County gets from the state, as well as proposed reductions in taxes that Jackson County may charge utilities and other businesses. I am very proud of the work JBA has participated in over the last 8 years as the lobbyist for the Jackson County Executive's office and wish you the very best in the future. However, since neither you nor your chief of staff will communicate with me after 2 1/2 months of the legislative session, I have no choice but to exercise my option under our contract and terminate our lobbying agreement effective the date of this letter."

And so we throw it back to our blog community . . .

DID JACKSON COUNTY EXEC FRANK WHITE DO THE RIGHT THING BY GIVING LOBBYIST JOHN BARDGETT THE COLD SHOULDER??? OR WAS HIS ALLEGED PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT UNBECOMING OF A BELOVED KANSAS CITY SPORTS HERO AND ELECTED OFFICIAL?!?!

  1. Frank is out in the weeds and not paying attention to county business for month according to this letter.

Wtf is he doing. Certainly isn't minding his mortgage payments.

So what is Frank doing with his time?

It seems like getting in touch with this guy is a big part of Frank's job. It's really unfortunate to see how dysfunctional things have become in Jackson County.

  2. Hate to take up for Frank here but lobbyists always think they're entitled to everyone's attention. That's how they get paid. Frank ignoring this guy probably saved Jackson County some money in billable hours.

  3. ^^^ hogwash.

We pay Frank to do his job. THIS is a big part of his job and he could have fired him 2 months earlier if he didn't want him working on county business. THAT would have saved money. Letting him operate without any direction or communication is serious mismanagement.

  4. Caleb is telling him to avoid communication. Caleb is destroying the county when he shouldn’t even have a job. Why is he still employed? Tell me what job Caleb has that is still legal given previous legislative action to remove his position as chief of staff?

  5. The guy is owed money and Frank is just trying to ignore another creditor? Hmmmm. Doesn't pay his income taxes (over $80k in arears), doesn't pay his mortgage, is there a theme developing here? As in Frank is a deadbeat.

  6. Man, Frank is a retard.

  7. I know both players. Frank is always trying to scam something for nothing, and John is one of the most honorable men I've ever met.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Frank wants a colored person that’s dishonest (aren’t they all!) so he can scam his house payments from them

  9. 2:29 for the win. This man was too honest to do business with White longer term.

  10. What is Mr. Whites' education?

    County Exec in name only?

    ReplyDelete
  11. John laundered money for Mike Sanders. I would not talk to him either.

  12. Frank, wtf? do your job and stop playing golf on county time!

  13. Tired of Caleb's bullshit5/11/18, 3:04 PM

Shut up Caleb. Your truck was an unnecessary public purchase. And, then there are those #METOO issues.

  14. move to kansas!

well, that's only a partial solution because kc metro area is actually all tied together.

but what the heck is going on with kcmo governance?

kcmo is a nice city but the leadership looks incompetent, so it's amazing that it's a nice place.

  15. Frank and Caleb is the dirtiest of them all. They will go down as the worst pair at the county in history. And that is saying something.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Caleb thought he fired Bardgett last year. But boy-wonder was too stupid to post a termination letter as required by the contract. So we paid Bardgett but never uses his services for the entire session. Caleb Clifford wasted our money again, and Frank did nothing about it.

    ReplyDelete
  17. John Bardgett made payments to Freedom Inc. and Jeff Roe with money that Mike Sanders "funneled" to him. JaxCo is right not to do business with him anymore.

    ReplyDelete
  18. The money to honor JB's contract was spent to pay Caleb Clifford's salary and benefits. Clifford did not tell Frank he did it for months, and after that Frank kept his mouth shut.

    ReplyDelete
  19. STFU Caleb your going to hell after you do time

    ReplyDelete
  20. It's not Caleb you numb nuts! This late on a Friday Caleb Clifford is already drinking and putting his hands on women.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Sorry folks, we neglected to publish any reporting on Sanders using public funds to retain Bardgett to launder money for him. You see, our reporters left for real papers or exciting careers in the mixology sector. The crew we have left really do not have a clue.

Oh, while we are here we should announce that we are raising subscription fees again. Sorry!

  22. Young Mr. Clifford is going to learn that you cannot be a professional and shit on everyone. That stink follows you around.

  23. caleb will be burned for his abusive treatment of women

    Ding Ding Ding

    Winner!

  25. Tony, The Grand Jury Report on the Jail is out. Caleb Clifford is for obstruction of justice. Refused to answer jurors testimony. Charges likely.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Let's look at this logically: you've got an experienced lobbyist who has a enviable Client List and knows just about everyone in the state. And then you have a first-time elected office holder and a rookie chief of staff. Who do you believe did the in appropriate job of communicating what is most likely? I'd say that of the many contracts this guy has dealing with the county is probably the toughest. It's just a shame that in the end the money is going to be coming from our property taxes.

    ReplyDelete
  27. So who's worse, mike sanders or frank white?

    ReplyDelete
  28. How old is this aging ball player? Between what we know about his personal finances and his performances as an alleged public servant, i'm wondering if this might be about Alzheimer's or dementia setting in. We have an increasingly erratic president who shows signs of what may be one of these diseases. Maybe Trump isn't the only one.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Mike Sanders is a crook.
    Frank White is a moron.
Neither one is fit for public office.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Frank brings me home some mores money! I want some free passes at the K too so go back and give a few rimjobs at the Royals! I likes being treated good! I wants moe money. And, honey lamb I be forgetin to pay the mortgage dis year! whoops! I was busy puttin on my false eyelashes. Oh MYS GOD! I need some more monies!OOOOOOOOH Lookie hears my purse is empty! Those sales where just too good and and a course I needed to get a few drinks and play the slots! You huny is just broke!

    ReplyDelete
  31. Caleb is big on avoiding email and written docs because they are "discoverable." He has a county phone & a separate BlackBerry for his real communications. Frank doesn't use a computer - his admin prints whatever emails Caleb thinks he needs to see. All this & Frank is running unopposed for reelection this fall. Pathetic. Caleb needs to go to jail - time in Jackson County jail would be perfect justice! Who has the keys to the pick up right now, anyway?

    ReplyDelete
  32. Like to know which sleazy thief in the County Legislature leaked this letter- or was it the next County Executive, Ms. Peters-Baker?

    ReplyDelete
  33. 9:05 Right. Because the problem is leaks, not Frank White's/Caleb Clifford's incompetence and corruption. Thank God someone's not covering up for them.

    ReplyDelete
  34. what did Bardgett do for the county to earn anything? sanders paid him and his wife big dollars for nothing frank is right to not waste out tax dollars on this jeff city joke, the feds should follow the lobbyist dollars

    ReplyDelete
  35. If Frank didn't want to pay a lobbyist, then did he spend some time in Jeff City trying to deal with these issues, regarding funding for the sports authority and the jail? He appears to have failed miserably.

    ReplyDelete
  36. He failed to get legislation passed that would pay house payments for all County Executives. So he’s got to go. Frank needs salary plus baseball pension for gambling.
