SHAME!!! DOWNTOWN KANSAS CITY PEDESTRIAN SMACKED BY CAR: HELP POLICE ID THE SUSPECT!!!
Here's a danger inside the loop that is insidious and far too frequent . . . Cars often endanger pedestrians obeying the rules. Here's the latest example:
"Police are looking for the driver of the vehicle who struck a woman who was crossing 11th Street at Central about 5:35 p.m. Feb. 22, a Thursday, and fled from the scene. The vehicle is a 2011-2015 white Chevy Cruze 4-door. Little or no damage may be visible on its hood. The vehicle was last seen traveling westbound toward Broadway. Police were unable to obtain a license plate number. The pedestrian suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries and is recovering. If you recognize this car and/or know who the driver is, call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS (8477)."
