Prez Trump Will Defeat Sen. McCaskill?!?

A Missouri political noob is seemingly counting on somebody else doing all of the heavy lifting for him . . . Will it work???

You decide:

Hawley banking on Trump helping his campaign against McCaskill

Popularity of a president often looms large during midterm elections, as it often plays a bigger role in voter decision-making than seemingly endless television ads or the back-and-forth between candidates. Attorney General Josh Hawley is clearly banking that President Donald Trump will be popular enough this fall to assist his Senate bid against U.S.

Comments

  1. Hawley's a weak candidate and unfortunately reminds people of another overly-ambitions wild-eyed Jason Pander, and there's a Republican primary which will be result in spending some money and some bruises, but he's still likely to win.
McCaskill has no real record to run on in very red Missouri and won last time only because of the terrible Akins campaign.
Looks like her pandering, infatuation with Obama, and luck is about to run out.

  2. If you're right and he does win, will he FINALLY settle down and start doing the job he's been elected to, or will he do what he did when he won the AG seat, and immediately start running for President?

  5. 6:59 I'll second the motion! The first senate race against Jim Talent was also a gimmie thanks to FECKLESS George w. bush. But never discount the ability of The Stupid Party to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

  6. If mcasskill loses, she still gets a retirement & healthcare benefit paid for by taxpayers. That's the shit that needs to change.
