Pitch Blames Guv Greitens For UMKC Downtown Real Estate Fail, Too

Here's the latest partisan screed from Babs that was mostly unnoticed given that the "alt" mag is now more of a party planning promo tool . . . Take a look at college complaints also confronting the embattled Guv . . .

Who's to blame for UMKC's Crossroads Conservatory debacle?

Barbara Shelly The orchestra pit at the University of Missouri-Kansas City's White Recital Hall is so shallow that recently a lanky conductor's head kept popping into view during a performance. That's just scratching the surface of the hall's deficiencies, says Diane Helfers Petrella, interim dean of the Conservatory of Music and Dance.

  1. I hate to agree with Barbara Shelly, but she's right this time. The money had been set aside (similar to escrow) from the General Funds until matching funds were raised privately.

Greitens veto cancelled the arrangement, but the $75 million has vanished, still somewhere not in the General Funds!

Hey, Governor Dindoo Nuffin, where's the cash?

  2. I agree 75 million is too much taxpayers dollars for so few of people to benefit from.

  3. It's fine if you disagree, what I'm asking is where the money went!

  4. Conservatory folks need to talk to Slie. For a small cut he'll tell you how to get the money out of the taxpayers. He's an expert.

  5. Back to the general fund 10:25. Start looking

  6. Barb and The Star are too late to report anything on Greitens as St Louis and even the national media have one upped them again.
They seem to think we need more opinion and hire more op-ed people who alienate and divide and take up salary space while real reporters are laid off.
Short the stock and make a mint.
