Kansas City Streetcar Election Starts Monday: Here's How Request Secret Rigged Ballot!!!

The streetcar expansion process was designed to EXCLUDE most Kansas City voters through a series of unreasonable processes far beyond what most elections require.

Take a look:

"The application period to apply for a ballot begins on March 5, 2018 and continues until 5:00 p.m. CDT on April 3, 2018. During the application period, the Official Application for Ballot may be printed for manual completion and signature, or may be filled in electronically, printed, then signed. Please follow instructions on the Application for proper submission."

Here's how to start . . .

16th Circuit Court Of Jackson County: Official Application for Ballot

The fun isn't over from that point, voters have to get their ballot notarized and leave their personal data exposed for a much longer duration than a simple ballot box check . . .

And all of this is why turnout for these elections is far less than any other municipal vote . . . And the leader of the library described the 1st streetcar effort as "the most corrupt Kansas City election since the Pendergast era."

You decide . . .

  1. Sounds like so much fun!

Don't forget that all of this might be for nothing without federal funding that hasn't been granted for two years.

  2. Ahh the "rigged" election song, the siren cry of the sore loser.

Take it up with the legislature if you have a beef with how elections are conducted ACCORDING TO STATE LAW.

    ACCORDING TO STATE LAW.

  3. Also I'm sure the leader of the library can spell Pendergast correctly, guess you can't be bothered.

  4. The city knows the mailed in ballot will pass and that is why they go with it. If this issue were to be on the ballot in a general election the results would be a very different.

Call it a legal crooked way to get their way.

  13. Fuck it. I got out of the shit hole KCMO years ago. Never seen the street car, never been to P&L and stopped going to River Market 15-20 years ago. The Sprint Center was a scam and we paid millions of dollars for "art" on the 4 pillars on top of Bartel Hall. Enjoy !
