TKC MUST SEE!!! KANSAS CITY RESIDENTS SILENCED AT TODAY'S 18TH & VINE JAZZ DISTRICT PLANNING MEETING!!!

With millions of taxpayer funds on the line . . . Locals, nearby residents and stakeholders are SHUT OUT of improvement process.

Here's a recent message from an East Side leader worth sharing . . .

"These photos were taken in the 18th & Vine Historic District. This is vacant lot next door to the KC Call building. This is the debris Residents of The Centennial Senior Apts and The Rochester Apts have to drive by as they enter their parking lots daily. This has been like this for weeks and weeks. Perhaps this why the Public will not be allowed to speak at the 18th & Vine Planning Committee meeting tomorrow. Bet this wouldn't exist on The Plaza!"

More . . .

"18th & Vine Development Policy Committee Meeting Friday, February 9, 2018 @ 8:30 AM at HOK, 300 West 22nd Street KCMO. A City Attorney e-mailed today and stated per the committee chair , the Public will NOT be allowed to speak at this meeting where the Future of 18th & Vine will be discussed... Millions of City, State, Federal and private dollars have been spent on the Historic District with more spending to occur but the PUBLIC can't speak."

  1. The local residents don’t get to speak? I wonder who trashed the lot. Could it possibly be local residents?

  2. Most of the local residents are incapable of coherently expressing a meaningful thought.

  4. Look Kansas city has an incompetent mayor, the city looks like a dump, it's full of black people who are illiterate. He's trash, his family is trash, and he doesn't know any better. Kansas City has become so bad that you can't even drive on the roads, the stores are filthy, and it's attracting people that are less than desirable to be around. Most of the houses going up for sale are in the millions, houses that never used to be for sale.
