  1. How are Mike's new taxpayer-funded hotel and the streetcar extension scam coming?
Just remember: Sly has different priorities from the actual residents of the city.

  2. KCMO victim of crime/violence dials 911:

Hello, thank you for calling 911, we take your emergency very seriously. Your call will be answered in the order it was received. While you continue to hold, please listen to this recording of Mayor Sylvester James arguing against the addition of more 911 emergency operators.

  3. So you call 911 and perhaps an officer shows up. Then what? They talk and you talk and if the case warrants it, a report is filed. Or not. God help you if you're being threatened because the police cannot protect anyone.

  4. See somethng? Don't bother saying something. They don't answer and if they do they don't do anything.

  5. sLIE is a racist, if he had a colored police chief he would get everything he wanted. He hates our white police chief so he won’t let him fix anything

  6. Local, state and federal mandates on public safety services' response times NOT BEING ADHERED TO could bring costly lawsuits. The Killa City jail suit settlements and other avoidable taxpayer burden FUBARs have already cost very much. So, shouldn't a KindKC, Smart and First Class city, having marvelous MOMENTUM provide adequate public safety services?

  7. Well maybe when a member of Sly James family is the next victim he will think twice, but it will be to late.

  8. The problem is the 911 response times are not doubled over at the mayors house.

  9. Star Editorial today supporting Sly is a disgrace. Public safety be damned. Baltimore Cordish, Burke hotel and streetcar must be priorities.
Does the Star have no concept of civic leadership?
Sly legacy will be crime and murder. Star shares responsibility for enabling criminals and death.
Outrage over Florida tragedy. Few tears over hundreds murdered in Killa City.

  10. You never near any talk about the police athletic club shutting down, less take home cars, less special merit badge police units, closing that horse parade unit. There's a few million saved for 911 call takers. But no effort to save money, just gimme gimme gimme. It's not infinity money in this city.
