A Shawnee Mission East sophomore injured in a crash last week in Prairie Village has died, police said. Alexander Carney died Wednesday night. Carney and another teen were injured in a crash on Feb. 7 in the 7100 block of Cherokee Lane. The second teenager was released from a hospital, police said.
