  1. When rich parents allow their kids to drive cars with way to much horsepower and to be running around racing on residential streets when they are suppose to be in school is when the risk for bad things to happen is monumental. Now the kid is same as dead but lets have a candlelight vigil to honor a kid who was doing wrong. The driver of the car needs to be in jail on charges.

  2. "Lingering in the left lane is illegal, problematic and hard to enforce"

True, but frequently the right lane is full of potholes. When is the Donald going to stop talking about infrastructure and actually, like, DO something.

  3. Why did Obama and Sly let it get so bad?

  4. Oh, come on, dipshit, KC streets have been left full of potholes since the mid-60s! Hell, under Kay Barnes it got so bad that there were steel plates on 47th Street at the Plaza that had been in place so long that there were yellow lane markings painted on them.

The problem is that certain City Departments have been allowed to run themselves with no oversight from the City Manager's Office forever and the Department Administration gets away with spending the money it receives on "fact finding" trips and "training" instead of where it is intended to go. The City Treasurer's Office was aware of this back I the 70s, but all attempts to rectify it were sidelined by the Legal Department then, and probably still are now.

It takes strong Leadership toot out Institutionalized Corruption, and the Kansas Developers who own this City will NOT allow Strong Leaders into Office.

What the hell is she doing about it.

  8. 6:50, it is not Donald's (i.e. the feds') responsibility to maintain Kansas City streets or Missouri roads and highways, including interstates. Kansas City could help matters by filling larger potholes with shredded streetcars and recycled airport tarmac.

  9. Agree, but I'm not talking about city streets. I was referring to I-70 and not just in Missouri. Besides, I don't think the law applies to city streets.
