Off-Season Moment Of Doubt: Kansas City Royals Fanboys Losing Faith In Front Office

Really great missive here on trade & contract talk as the Royals drop payroll by more than $20-MILLION and continue their profit taking after 2015 World Series glory . . .

Kansas City Royals: We have reached a strange place as fans

Going into the off-season, Dayton Moore made it clear that the Kansas City Royals were going to make first baseman Eric Hosmer their number one priority. At first, most fans seemed to be on board with this. However, as time goes on things seem to be a bit different.

  1. Chiefs and Royals - always been "Farm Clubs", always gonna be!

  2. Farm clubs don't win World Series and the Royals have won 2. Two more than Seattle, Washington, Texas, Tampa to name a few. The Royals overall 50 year record compares very well to most ML teams. There was a long dry spell when the "civic leaders' ruined Mr K's legacy but they finally overcame that.

  3. Yup, and thy follow up each win by starting the process of peddling off their decent Players and only keeping the unsalable dregs, don't they?

  4. Royals fans are generally ok with just being competitive. What they don’t like is that David Glass is a cheapskate inbred hillbilly cocksucker. Our scouting department sucks dick and Dayton Moore makes piss poor transactions, at least for the last two years.
