Morning Anchor Mark Alford Talks Kansas Politics With New Guv Jeff Colyer

To compliment newsie coverage and a traditional report . . . Morning anchor Mark Alford offers this sit down interview with the top politico in Kansas that offers more of a personal perspective on a guy who could be just keeping the seat warm for Sec State Kris Kobach or biz dude Greg Orman.

Description:

"Jeff Colyer is as surgeon and now the 47th Governor of Kansas. He takes over the term for Sam Brownback who quit to become an ambassador. Gov. Colyer has a lot of healing to do with a state that is divided and in need of money to fund schools."

  1. Going to be an interesting race, with Colyer and Orman running.
Hope Kansans aren't cray enough to let Kobach within sniffing distance of the nomination, the State needs a little sanity for a couple of years.

  3. State and Local Elections aren't supposed to be "exciting", they're supposed to be about selecting which Candidate one thinks would do the better job.

The only get "exciting" when some Ideologue fires up one or the other extremist group of "Wingnuts", a la Brownback or Kobach!

  4. Alford wasn't special Colyer sat down with a reporter from every local TV and radio talk show yesterday. Tony has a new man crush--Mark Alford.

  5. Typical arrogant doctor. They think that they know everything about everything.
