  1. So the local libtards answer is "Hire More Felons". Wow! What high standards KC has. How about the city impose a fine and jail time for those obtaining employment through fraudulent means. For example falsely claiming to have a high school diploma, college degree or being a veteran will land your ass in jail. 70 percent of felons do not have a high school diploma and 90 percent are not veterans. over half of those who are not veterans do not have an honorable discharge. Lets let the poor little victims save face and then put the bullshitters in the slammer. God forbid the city would do anything to protect the business folks who invest in this town.

  4. In all honesty a job application is a joke. Nothing in place that keeps a person from lying their ass off when they fill it out. Sure you can do all kinds of background checks which by the way you have to pay for not the person applying for the job. Never understood the listing of non family friends that some ask of because if a person is hiding something they have already got their friends to lie for them so why bother. As for their education it's the one that is hardest to check so for the most part I just make the applicant provide me with the proof of education or far as I am concerned they don't have it because you can't just call most schools and ask if so and so went there and did they graduate unless you have a signed release form giving you permission. Calling where they worked before is not always a good wealth of information because a past employer can really not say very much about you in a negative way or you risk a lawsuit for being honest about why you fired someone.

I like the check the felon box just so I can see if the person can even be honest about what they did that was wrong. I would a hire a person with a past criminal history depending on the job and if they were very open and truthful about their conviction. As a rule I have found that people who can't own up to their mistakes are not employees you really want.

  5. If possible, hire, interview and import new employees from surrounding cities. Let KC dintdos stew in their hoods. I don't think employers are obliged to hire locally.

  6. MissouriCasenet is your friend.

  7. Casenet only covers Missouri cases so if a guy is a pedophile in Arkansas as many are just ask Bill he won't show up on casenet.

  8. Casenet does not have municipal court convictions for theft, drugs, vandalism, DUI, assault, domestic violence, gun violations or anything else that goes to the city court for the purposes of making the city money.

  9. Notice how the guy @ 8:58 says another can't write while proving he doesn't know how to spell.

    It's "barely" you condescending asshole!
