Jazz in the Woods event canceled due to lack of funding

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. - After nearly three decades, thousands of jazz lovers will no longer be tapping their toes. Since 1989, the Overland Park South Rotary Club has hosted the annual Jazz in the Woods event at Corporate Woods.

That thing was stupid anyway. It was getting a little 18th & Viney. The Prairie Village Jazz Festival will do just fine.

This too bad so sad article was just a ploy to get the well-heeled SOUTH Overland Park folks to cough up the cash. This tactic has worked well at KCMO City Hall.
