    Step by step
    Open wide plains
    Envied fractal mountains majesty
    Never fought imaginary evil
Varied souls would mutter toes hotbed
Over wine or cups of coffee
Took up your sword and lance
    Defended the helpless
    Artfully destroyed the wicked
A hero, yet never the fool
    Acts of chivalry
    Roads less traveled
    Words, deeds, and courage
Rise by Sin, yet fall in virtue
Never confused arms control with deodorant
We all want someone to stay
    One loved so much
    No regrets having met you
    Journey on
    Wrapped arms about you
    Cry out
    How you fixed me
Thank you for the time you stayed
Kept close and let me know
    Never forget you
    Only a step away

    Tilted neve
    Think, therefore I exist
    Sun rise in the East
    Blue moon points westward home
    Rain fall as our tears
    The lake over flows
    Dearest husband, father, loyal friend
    Until we meet again
