TKC SUNDAY QUESTION: GUV GREITENS SEYZ SORRY THRICE BUT WILL HE SURVIVE FBI INQUIRY & GOP HATERATION???
Last night embattled Guv Greitens finally spoke publicly amid a week of scandal and demands for his resignation.
Once again, the Guv didn't bother to wear a tie . . . HOWEVER, his face-to-face encounter with tough questions was far more convincing than social media statements from his lawyer of his wife.
Repeated denials were expected along with yet another apology but a bigger question remains . . .
CAN GUV GREITENS EFFECTIVELY GOVERN GIVEN MISSOURI REPUBLICAN HATERATION AND ONGOING SUSPICION OF THIS EVOLVING SCANDAL?!?!
Bi-partisan support for his resignation makes this issue far more complex than just left vs. right mutual masturbation debates.
While his apologies seem sincere, Missouri voters still confront the very same problem as betrayed spouse . . . A question of trust.
And so, the real challenge facing the Guv right now is rebuilding trust among justifiably skeptical members OF HIS OWN PARTY if he plans to move forward even as many suspect (despite his denials) that he's just buying time while looking for a better gig.
