TKC BLOG COMMUNITY KICK-ASS READER: "This happened Sunday morning and naturally never made the news. Sounded like Iraq out there for ten seconds. Must have been 20-30 shots fired by my count. Heavy caliber. You could hear it from Westmoreland to Loose Park."

Rockhurst University had the following security notice to students and staff yesterday...
"On Sunday, January 21, 2018, at approximately 2:45 AM the Department of Safety and Security was contacted by a Rockhurst affiliate who stated his vehicle was struck by bullets as he traveled northbound on Troost Ave. towards 60th street. The victim stated while traveling north on Troost he heard gunshots and noticed two vehicles behind him were shooting at one another from their respective vehicles as they traveled northbound on Troost. The victim described the suspect vehicle’s a dark-colored unknown type SUV with tinted windows occupied by unknown individuals, and an unknown year, make or model, light in color vehicle occupied by unknown individuals.
The victim took appropriate action by lowering himself in the driver’s seat to avoid injury. The vehicles engaged in the moving assault eventually turned on 60th Street from Troost. The victim continued to Rockhurst campus and immediately contacted the Kansas City, Missouri Police Department (KCPD) and Rockhurst Department of Safety and Security.
The Department of Safety and Security and KCPD examined the victim’s vehicle and located a bullet hole in the bed and cabin area of the truck. The victim was not injured during the event, and KCPD is the lead agency on the investigation."

20k a year for that?
ReplyDeleteNo thanks.
Where is the bed and cabin located on a truck?
ReplyDeleteBed is in the back. Cabin "cab" is in the front
DeleteBed is in the back. Cabin "cab" is in the front
DeleteAbove the wheels, Just Curious, above the wheels.
ReplyDeleteThe "Cabin" is usually shortened to "Cab", (just as "Dipshit" is often shorthand to "Dip"). The "Bed" of a truck is the part of the body not included in the Cabin.
Glad I could help.
Rockhurst is on Troost, what do you expect?
ReplyDeleteWho cares ..... its Killa City.
ReplyDeleteWhat did you expect?
Hopefully some of the hood rats got shot and killed. The violent death of a hood rat is cause for celebration
ReplyDeleteUntil there are gun Check points and neighborhood house to house sweeps for guns a d drugs this type of story will continue to become more numerous as the murder rate climbs. Snitches are heroes.
ReplyDeleteIt should be against the law to have gunfights so close to Rockhurst. Snowflakes aren’t emotionally prepared to handle it.
ReplyDeleteBut wait, there's more!
ReplyDeleteIsn't this yet another neighborhood that an urban planner says we should not "gentrify"???
Hi Tracy! Where’d you eat tonight?
DeleteAt the Y
DeleteI heard the shots and immediately filled my diaper with, according to the Bristol Stool Scale, a big batch of type 7: Watery, no solid pieces, entirely liquid.
ReplyDeleteTracy STFU
ReplyDeleteJack the Ripper also seen leaving the area......
ReplyDeleteCan Rockhurst privatize Troost?
ReplyDeleteWow, 10:53--now that is a profound suggestion.
ReplyDeleteKC may become like St. Louis 100 years ago or so, a land of gated communities.
Or--it can become East St. Louis.
Depends on the will of the people.
Meanwhile, the city of KCMO broke ground today on a new downtown hotel, subsidized with $35 million of taxpayer money. Forget the crime and the potholes and 52 busted water main pipes the past week. It's all about the shiny objects downtown.
The less blacks you have the less crime, less dumb rap music too. Out of control scum race
ReplyDelete^^^ Never went to college. Sorry. Try not to be bitter. And hurry up with my order. My fries better not be cold.
ReplyDeleteTough lesson for this college. They grew their campus in the wrong part of town.
ReplyDeleteSome electronic props to whoever can properly identify the make, model and year of the car in the sketch. I know and will maybe check back in after work.
