TKC EXCLUSIVE!!! INSIDERS PUSHING COUNCIL DUDE SCOTT TAYLOR TOWARD SUICIDE MISSION AGAINST JACKSON COUNTY EXEC FRANK WHITE!!! OR SHOULD HE CONTINUE LONG SHOT KANSAS CITY MAYORAL CAMPAIGN???

There are a great many of us confronting tough decisions in the new year but Council Dude Scott Taylor is forced to deal with an exceptionally perilous political conundrum at the outset of 2018.

Here's the fork in the road facing the 6th District Council dude who still holds one of the biggest campaign war chests in Kansas City . . .

His Mayoral odds aren't good. His cash can't buy him voter love in Kansas City with so many political adversaries rallying against him. His money might not earn him the votes he needs as even the "revive the East side" plan garnered a cold reception.

However . . .

Local politicos, consultants and insiders want to send Council Dude Scott Taylor on a suicide mission against Exec Frank White. They say that he can FINALLY earn a title as a "reformer" amid a Jackson County hot mess and his political skill might give him an advantage against baseball legend Frank White who has now been damaged by a year of fighting at the Courthouse.

The reality is that there's not much data to suggest that voters still won't stick with their favorite baseball dude of Chrsitmas past . . .

And so . . .

WHAT SHOULD COUNCIL DUDE SCOTT TAYLOR DO IN 2018??? TRY TO CLEAN UP JACKSON COUNTY OR KEEP WORKING TO BUILD MOMENTUM IN AN ALREADY CROWDED KANSAS CITY MAYORAL CONTEST???

You decide . . .

  1. Scott for Mayor.

    Cathy for County Executive.

They will be the king & queen of KCMO.

    2. Taylor vs. White would be the most interesting election KC has seen in a few decades.

  2. Voted no for Westport ordinance. Will never get my vote for anything.

  3. He would do well in jackson county. Nobody there now will be able to beat Frank but Taylor has a chance with his money.

Caveat, he needs to get out of there quickly and not ruin his career there. Frank is the perfect example.

  4. He won't win either. Scott is not a reformer but just a democrat party hack.

Absolutely agree. He is unelectable given his performance over the past two terms.

  5. Performance? He’s been the milk toast of the council.

The most critical issue facing this city is the lack of safety in our city. Record homicide and violent crime rates. We don’t have a council member running for mayor who can actually talk about what they did to make this city safer. Scott, Jolie and Quinton all voted against the Westport plan. Scott Wagner supported the Westport plan but has helped the mayor engineer the systemic reduction in the city’s police force.

That leaves us with Ryan Silvey, he may be our best choice.

  7. Council Dude Scott should go home and paint the house. That is a project he can handle.

  8. Tracy for Mayor. I know she doesn't live in the city , But..... she is wishy washy and full of shit. Perfect!

  9. As long as politically-correct gestures are considered imperative by local, State, and Federal politicians, nothing, absolutely nothing will improve.

  10. He can't win on either front! But White can be beat.

  11. The only thing Frank White should be worried about is his house payment... and going to jail.
The Royals would not hire him to sell hotdogs.
Frank White’s record as a politician is about as good as a one-legged waitress working at the IHOP. It’s not funny.

  12. Scott would make a great County Executive, I'd support him.

  13. If Scott Taylor proceeds with either a KCMO Mayoral run or the County Executive post, we will reveal his corrupt financial dealings with developers. The evidence is overwhelming.

Taylor should return to private life, dedicate himself to being a good father and husband, and donate his campaign warchest to charity before terminating his committee.

Waiting with baited breath for the JoCo cunt to weigh in on something else she don't know shit about.

Come on Tracy. Stop slobbering on black balls and yap us up.

  17. I would like to see Jean Baker run for County executive. She has knowledge of the institution, support on the Legislature and a lot of proven skill in managing a county office. She would make a great choice!

Cathy Jolly still owes Jackson County for all that salary she collected as a no-show "worker."

  20. Scott Taylor needs to worry whether the state auditor Nichole Galloway will examine his wife's job under Sanders. Typical Democrat handout.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Hey fuckstick at 9:35 both Galloway and Taylor are Democrat. Why do you think they would not cover up for each other. Stupid

  22. If an "auditor" was going to do anything about this it would have happened by now.
