TKC EXCLUSIVE AND BREAKING NEWS!!! EPIC AND EXPENSIVE ETHICS BATTLE CONFRONTS JACKSON COUNTY TODAY!!!

A united Jackson County Legislature is ready to make the next move against embattled Executive Frank White in order to cut off his money supply and render him powerless.

Of course, this weekend a judge's ruling declared that Exec Frank White can't touch COMBAT anti-drug tax funds for the moment.

And now . . .

THE COUNTY WILL DEBATE ETHICS LEGISLATION THAT NOT ONLY CUTS MORE COURTHOUSE PURSE STRINGS FOR EXEC FRANK WHITE BUT ALSO THREATENS HIS TENURE MOVING FORWARD!!!

I'll spare readers the civics lesson but the "perfected" and pending legislation basically covers payments and benefit to County denizens and it threatens to not only make life harder for Team Frank but also put their tenure to rest before an upcoming election.

Real talk . . .

TKC EXCLUSIVE AND BREAKING NEWS: BEHIND THE SCENES COURTHOUSE INSIDERS ARE TALKING ABOUT EXEC FRANK WHITE REPRIMAND AND REMOVAL FROM OFFICE!!!

As this court fight proceeds, this is an option we're going to hear about more and more . . .

Nevertheless, as we gear up for this fight, here's another more detailed look at the price tag:

Already, there's a rush resolution transferring $61,000.00 within the 2018 General Fund to cover the cost of outside legal counsel to serve as municipal court prosecutor for use by the County Counselor's Office.

But it gets worse . . .

CHECK THE COUNTY LOOTING PROGRAMS ACROSS JACKSON COUNTY AMID THIS LEGAL FIGHT WITH THE EXEC!!!

Also on the agenda today . . .

A RESOLUTION transferring $255,000.00 within the 2018 Health Fund, $22,298.00 within the 2018 Park Fund, $234,232.00 within the 2018 Special Road and Bridge Fund, and $100,000.00 within the 2018 Assessment Fund to partially cover the cost of legal services and related expenses for use by the County Counselor's Office.

And yes, the end note here, as always, is that taxpayers are left paying this bill to resolve a political impasse and decide a contentious Courthouse battle.

Developing . . .

  1. probably worth it if this is the cost to warn "popular" elected that their fame won't buy them support in the long run.

  2. It's only money.

  3. Hundreds of thousands of dollars spent, with much more to come, by a county government that consistently does a terrible job of assessing property, collecting and distributing taxes, "runs" a jail that's an ongoing catastrophe and has cost hundreds of thousands in legal settlements, has an inept court system, and generally can't and doesn't respond to the actual needs of county residents.
And all over who is up and who is down at the courthouse and fighting over who gets to favor supporters, friends, insiders, and contributors from the $20 million/year COMBAT slush fund that has and continues to do absolutely nothing to curb drugs, violence, and crime.
If JaCo government went away tomorrow, about the only people who would notice are the folks who work there.
    Pitiful.

  4. Cronyism, Palm greasing and general lack of Ethics is the Hallmark of Missouri local governments that have been historically run by democrats. What's happening in Jackson County should come as no surprise, except perhaps to those who refuse to recognize a chronic problem that will never be corrected so long as the voting base consists of people who are obsessed with race and free handouts. Self-serving politicians will always Pander to those most likely to vote for them and in the case of Jackson County it is no incentive low achievers. You get precisely the government you deserve.

  5. Every election is a sort of advance auction sale of stolen goods. - H L Mencken. Nowhere is this more true than Jackson County.

  8. Not yet to the pants shitting age but it is a comfort to know that when I am there will be plenty of millennials available at minimum wage to do the diaper change.

  9. The County has no choice but to go all in in the defense of the Law. Frank White has now crossed the line and truly shows that he has no intension of following the laws which were passed in the County. The County now has to do what ever it takes to remove White from office.

  10. I am all in on this expenditure. I think this is a great investment of County Tax dollars. The county has not choice but to remove an unqualified Executive who has shown that he is willing to break the law.

  11. And meanwhile people trying to do their job are sitting at home on unpaid leave.

  12. Tony, your link does not refer to the Jackson County Municipal Court Prosecutor>

Is that the one who accidentally killed a lady in a car wreck last summer?

    Please clarify yourself.

  13. So the drama queens at the Jackson County version of the PTA are still cat fighting, eh? Couldn't hurt if the local rednecks woke up and voted them all out.

@9;45, the question is whether or not they will wipe your nasty fucking ass before dropping the diaper on you. My bet is no......

  15. 11:13 AM is correct . Millennials are incapable of wiping their own asses much less anyone else's .

  17. Do I still get to keep my fancy truck that Jackson County taxpayers bought for me?

Also, I need gas and oil and other stuff.

    Thanks!

  19. Can I get a pro-rate on my County property take bill if they're just going to blow it on lawyers. I shouldn't have to pay for their idiocy.

  20. 3:18 Can't you just do what Frank White did? Have Sleazy Mike Sanders arrange for someone to "gift" you the money to pay your back taxes.

    ReplyDelete
  21. That would be nice @4:12 but not all of us have those kind of connections.

  22. Frank bank got him in trouble. Sorry not sorry.

  23. Jackson County is hiring more staff to expand the house arrest program. Check Indeed.com they are looking to clear prisoners out of the jail and put as many as possible on the streets.

    ReplyDelete
  24. +When is Frank going to get around to cleaning house, like firing the bag lady for the Sanders administration Miriam H?

    ReplyDelete
  25. The County is a mess. Too bad Frank can't even come close to fixing it.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Maybe Frank leaves the County and provides his expertise in the KCMO City Council. He could also bring his son to the Counsel. His oversight would be a wonderful addition to this Counsel...
