Quick look at the latest from our pal Tracy and her struggle to keep Johnson County honest.
Take a look:
Tracy: Woohoo--530 more customers for Walgreen's, Starbucks and 2 drive-ins!
Money line:
"I told the Council last night, I am embarrassed for them. They've given away 22 years of free police and free fire and free street maintenance--to a man who will do whatever he likes, and if he changes his plans, they don't have the courage to do anything about it."
Developing . . .
Hooray for Tracy, tells it like it is.
ReplyDeleteThis gal has chutzpah....
ReplyDeleteI am starting to see the connections and problems are the same all over the metro. We are all getting played...
ReplyDeleteGood for Tracy. Well documented. Look at that huge list of giveaways projects this clever man has bamboozled from taxpayers all over town. I don't blame anyone for asking, but Jesus, people--these elected officials are WEAK!
ReplyDeleteHey Tony, when do we get the bikini shot of Tracy?
ReplyDeleteIf we have to read this stuff, don't we deserve some sort of reward?
City of Shawnee screwed the taxpayers again for what?. Just more of the same they already have plenty of. This clown will build it sell it for a profit in 2-3 years and then the place will start falling apart like the last one did.
ReplyDeleteSo here's one thing she's pointing to--who writes the checks to elect these people?
ReplyDeleteNice job Tracy!! Peterson is totally corrupt, just like the rest of the Polsinelli Gang!!!
ReplyDeleteMetro KC might as well be Nigeria, thanks to the Petersen crowd.
SuperDave--you're right on target. Now that Petersen has his zoning, and his $31 million tax incentive package, which was what he REALLY wanted all along, he can flip this and move on to greener pastures.
ReplyDeleteAs in every major intersection in Joco.
Even the reporter last night didn't realize he takes a percentage of every deal he does, well except for Walmart, they won't play.
Tracy is the most beautiful woman ever.
DeleteTracy: Now that is nice reporting!
ReplyDeleteTracy, good luck with this. There are so many errors in your blog post that it leaves you wide open to be challenged. You don't understand as much of the financing as you realize and your reporting isn't even 3rd rate. If you don't like the project, that's fine but you lack the comprehension of the zoning issues makes it obvious that you're out of your league.
ReplyDelete@8:56, you mad bro? I applaud tt for standing up to clear corruption in her council as well as us in kcmo. She doesn't do it for fame and fortune, she does it cause it is the right thing to do. You couldn't pay me to make enemies of the same POS's that tt has made enemies of. That takes a Margret Thatcher level of iron will. Thanks tt for the good fight. It's sad that so many others are completely apathetic.
ReplyDeleteWell, 8:56, I'm not out of your HEAD!
ReplyDeleteBring it on, Shawnee Gz.
And for the record, I am not a reporter, I am a commenter. My blog is information and satire. I served five years on the Shawnee City Council, including Council President. And ran for chairman of the Johnson County Board of County Commissioners, against Annabeth Surbaugh, who received $40,000 in contributions raised BY John Petersen. She then kept his Oz project on life support for 2 1/2 years. All of that was reported in detail by Finn Bullers at the Kc STAR, back when the Star had full time beat reporters--he was an expert at Johnson County.
I did attend the meeting last night--and took many of the facts in today's post from reporting done by the Shawnee Dispatch and Shawnee Mission Post. So if the numbers are off, you cna attack Jennifer Barghava and Jerry LaMartina, who used to write for the KC Biz Journal.
For the record you are a attention cunt.
DeleteThe Mayor's husband may sharpen scissors, but Tracy sharpened her scalpel and excoriated the dead skin off of this dead horse deal for all to see.
ReplyDeleteOUCH!!!!
Nice job Tracy, as usual.
I am not usually a big fan of Tracy but I have to admit she hit the target right in the center. These local yahoos that are on the Shawnee (and Lenexa) City councils just do not have the balls to say if you as a developer want to play you have to pay at least the school districts part of the tax bill. We allow the mayors and councilpersons to screw the city and the citizens they are supposed to represent.
ReplyDeleteWhy did Lenexa need a new city hall? Because Mayor Boehm wanted one thats why.
Vote them out next election!
Chuck and Tracy, please get a room.
ReplyDeleteBoth the story and most of the fake comments are pathetic.
Hey 2:56 a.m. everyone knows nothing good happens if that our why don't you go back to bed and take a little nap then when you get up you can sign your work and then you will have the legitimacy to make a comment here comment on the topic
ReplyDeleteAs for 8:28 p.m. last night my beef is not so much with polsinelli and John Peterson but with the elected officials they are in love with same and they have convinced themselves that they know more than they really know they get played constantly and they make the wrong decisions. They want those free yard signs on every street corner the 4 by 8 Footers and they want those checks from the development attorneys who are the only people who write checks anymore for elections at the local level
ReplyDeleteGood morning, beautiful Tracy.
DeleteIn love with FAME, typo sorry.
ReplyDeleteWhat's the matter cunt not enough post on jocuntpost for you. Talk about tooting your own horn.
ReplyDeleteSo another city got played by the all-powerful developers? As long as the city government gets their little white envelopes, the developers will do whatever they want. Don't act surprised when you go to the safe, and the money is gone.
ReplyDeleteWhen will tracy finally finish his sex change and get rid of that awful wig and glasses? Don't be afraid to be who you is... like gary bottom-guy leazak...
