  1. Sad, Raytown was once a good place to raise a family.

  2. Are you nuts 5:24? When was that?

Maybe in the 1970's, but "you know who" swarmed in.

    1. The citizens of Raytown need to heavily arm themselves to protect against that “swarm”.

  5. These officers did the right thing, it's time to respect what our police officers do. Raytown is now a ghetto, just like Kansas City is becoming.

  6. Thank you kick-ass TKC commentators for once again solving one the city's pressing issue. You have demonstrated once again that there really is no problem this city has that cannot be solved by our city's brightest minds. The consensus on the street is that this blog does nothing more than provide a forum for the uneducated, the aged, and frankly the worst of this city, to spout vulgarities, ignorance, and the worst of the human condition. You brave heroes have really proven that to be a false allegation. I mean look at @6:24, this cat really broke it down for us. I mean a topic like this could cause posters who don't have to identify themselves to really appeal to the worst of themselves, but these heroes @6:24AM & 6:43AM serve as what can happen when the best of us get together. Bravo!

  7. ^^^ They at least identified the problem. What have you done?

  8. The real issue here is a bunch of small suburb aldermen decided to play real estate developer. As could be expected they screwed up badly and the city is broke.

  9. Wow that’s a large amount of Officers to lose. I’m sorry to see that.

  10. What has identifying the problem ever done????.....(crickets)

  12. I used to own the house on the SE corner @ 63rd & Farley with the big back yard across from Standard-Havens in the '80s, ahh the days of Lyle's Flamingo Lounge and the Sni-Blue, we saw it coming and bailed in '92. Too bad.

  13. ^^^Now you live as a shut-in. Scared to leave the house. Easily persuaded by troll pieces designed to trigger the feeble-minded. You have been reduced to posting on a troll blog about a city you no longer live in at 10:03AM on a Thursday Morning. This is your life now. Your have failed.

  15. It's funny the swarm in raytown is predominantly white poor meth addicted whites. That is the majority of the population based on census studies. Well poor white trash sold out to Walmart for a door greeter career and destroyed a city. Now let's tell the truth a majority white city that doesn't wanna pay taxes but wants to employ all there family members is broke. Sounds like a typical white johnson county city minus Olathe which has has a large influx of African Americans and section eight. That city's budget and balance sheet is doing great well so much for the Olathe swarm

  16. Raytown is only about 65% human anymore and therein lies the problem.

    Apetown, anybody?

  17. Kansas City area mayors and administrators. It's somewhat of a fraternity, albeit an occasionally cruel one. Administrative peers haven't always viewed Raytown as a laughingstock. It's always been more of a "glad it's not us". We are aware however of at least one mayor whose municipality bumps up against this city. They always tell us of bracing and go on high goober alert as a certain Raytown official, with a sloppy ear to ear grin comes truckin' towards them, hand outstretched. It's just a sad situation all around in Raytown right now.
