NEWSFLASH!!! SUSPENSION OF PROTESTER MARCUS PETERS UNIFIES KANSAS CITY CHIEFS IN EPIC VICTORY OVER RAIDERS!!!
Today the Kansas City Chiefs earned a return to their winning ways with an impressive victory over the Raiders. The team was unified, disciplined and cohesive in every facet of the game. Insiders, experts and local fans have already attributed the turnaround to the absence of controversial national anthem protester Marcus Peters.
At one point the team had shut out the Raiders 26-0.
The final score: 26-15.
Alex Smith and the offense regained their confidence as both passing and running yards simply overpowered the Oakland team.
On defense, the secondary looked sharper, pass rushing was dramatically improved and better communication bewixt players was obvious.
And so . . .
CLEARLY, BENCHING MARCUS PETERS MADE THE DIFFERENCE IN THIS EPIC KANSAS CITY WIN!!!
Accordingly . . .
SHOULD THE CHIEFS CONTINUE THE MARCUS PETERS SUSPENSION???
The team still clings to the top of the AFC West and a glimmer of playoff hope remains.
As the post-season approaches, fans must now confront the reality of the disruption that Marcus Peters brings to the squad.
The Kansas City Chiefs are clearly a better team without Marcus Peters.
And now, the most astute local football fans must confront the damage that his return could inflict on the playoff hopes of the team.
