The newspaper goes out on a limb with a column touting legislation that already has bi-partisan support with a few differences but basically neither party bashing 'Español people' like some partisans would have us imagine . . .
I'm a Dreamer and also a Kansas City entrepreneur. People like me need the Dream Act
The menu at Pirate's Bone coffee shop is as bicultural as me. You'll find horchata mixed with espresso. A white chocolate latte flavored with guallijo chilies. Cinnamon-infused cold brew coffee. My business is a reflection of who I am, of my hopes and dreams. I moved to the U.S.
Adios Zaid. Time to go.
ReplyDeleteYou are an illegal.
ReplyDeleteNo problem. I’m sure Mexico can use a good man like this.
ReplyDeleteBut the real problem is this man is better than the previous three posters combined. He provides more value than you three losers. We need more of him less of you. He works...you complain. He is living the American dream...you have lost it. He is everything America stands for...you are America's embarrassment.
ReplyDelete
ReplyDeleteNO, what he got is a free ride at the expense of an American citizen or someone else who is trying to come in legally and was pushed to the back of the line. He's an illegal!!!!!
7:38 is the problem
ReplyDelete
ReplyDelete7:38 He is NOT everything America stands for!!!!!! He's living the American dream at the expense of others who follow the law. It's not fair. HE'S ILLEGAL!
YOU are a traitor and an EMBARRASSMENT to this country!!!!!
Mexico has never had good coffee. This man must be returned to fix the problem.
ReplyDeleteWhere are his parents? They're not "Dreamers." If they have not already gone back to Mexico, deport them.
ReplyDeleteI sympathize with people who were brought to America by their parents illegally as young children. There should be a way to let them stay here as long as they do not break our laws and do not burden the welfare system. But, that does not mean we have to give them a "pathway to citizenship." If they bring economic value to the country, as this man argues, they can do so with green cards as legal permanent residents. They can then apply for citizenship, but have to go to the back of the line, behind applicants who are not here illegally.
But continue to deny entry to his parents once they have been deported. No chain immigration for Dreamers. If Zaid misses them he can go to Mexico.
F*CKIN' OLD NEWS!
ReplyDeleteThis guy and his coffee shop got an almost identical write-up about a year ago. This is recycled news....guy must be trying to drum up customers.
Is KC liberal or what?
The fact that an illegal resident isn't afraid to have his mug in the daily rag, speaks volumes about his lack of fear.
So glad these kick-ass TKC insiders were able to actively and rather decisively solve this issue. I am especially impressed with @7:38's powerful and well thought-out observation "7:38 is the problem." Now that everyone of your very valid opinions has been entered into the record here, what is your detailed plan on immigration reform? I for one, am really interested in hearing @7:47AM's plan. This kick-ass TKC insider has an innate sense of what's fair and what's not. He is also fluent in what makes a traitor and what doesn't. His position pieces will make delightful reading. I look forward to hearing how your sit-downs with congressmen on this issue went. Please tell me you HAVE had them? Please tell me you are actively working with the US Senate to implement comprehensive immigration reform. This IS the issue of our times and despite your judicious use of exclamation points, I believe you to capable of getting this done!
ReplyDeleteI hope this trolling helps you. I'm amused that this little blog gets under your sensitive skin so much.
DeleteAnd I am sorry you're so lonely, dear. I'm sure you'll get some attention if you keep posting. :)
Kick his illegal ass out IS THE PLAN and the law you moron, by the way, You are apart of the problem by letting these illegals screw the honest ones trying to do the right thing. Take your liberal ass to another country, oh, that’s right, they have laws against people just showing up illegally don’t they, you are an idiot lady.
ReplyDeleteSee ya dude! Adios!
ReplyDelete@9:54 What do we say to people who have been patiently waiting to enter this country legally ? What is your "plan" for them ?
ReplyDeleteThey can stay where they are. We are not obligated to let anyone in.
DeleteDon't read the fake newspaper anymore. Sorry.
ReplyDeleteHopefully ICE gives him a visit!
ReplyDeleteHe has more of a right to be here than any white man because he, at least, has some Native American DNA. Europeans living in the Americas, calling other people illegal immigrants shows a profound lack of history & logic.
ReplyDeleteInstead of Europeans deporting Chicano's, the Native Americans should be deporting the Europeans. Well, maybe someday they will get their country back from these foreign invaders.
Fake history, quite racist in its way.
Delete@2:06PM You represent the very best of this blog my fair lady. You are correct my dear, I enjoy the fascinating insights of our kick-ass posters very much. The brilliant postings of delightful individuals like @12:11PM-this guy really brings it! Or, how about 7:44AM? That guy is just a straight-shooter with upper level management written all over him! So you see my dear, this blog could never annoy me! What would annoy me would be if this blog devolved into a useless form for the brainless to express their worst instincts in public. I bet my dear, you feel the same. Right?
ReplyDeleteSee, you can't stop, can you? :)
DeleteMissing the point all of you. He's staying and your'e just crying about it . This is why your president is a game show host.
ReplyDeleteVery gross.
Build the wall and toss this asswipe over.
ReplyDeleteI continue to wonder why Funkhouser is still in the USA and has not gone back to Europe. The Shawnee don't want him and neither do we. Hypocrisy, thy name is Byron.
