Reality check on how the GO BONDS DON'T PAY FOR ANYTHING when it comes to improving life outside of the loop. Checkit:
South Kansas City man claims broken fire hydrant made bad house fire worse
Fire fighters couldn't use hydrant 100 feet from burning home
And killa city residents stay winning! Thanks sLIE for making sure we have water...... wait, what? We don’t have working fire hydrants, oh, that’s right, downtown, the new hotel and the new airport are more important than the rest of the city, you are a complete imbecile sLIE and the worst mayor ever and I thought funkytown was the worst but you make him look like a rocket scientist! Fucking idiot....
ReplyDeleteDid you know that 3 percent of 24,000 fire hydrants is 780? That’s 780 fire hydrants that they claim aren’t working as of right now. That’s a shitload of people’s neighborhoods without working fire hydrants. Somehow I get the feeling that the numbers are a lot higher than there willing to admit to
ReplyDeleteNo working hydrants for the fire the other night off I-435 and Front. KCWD has the attitude "There's your hydrant. Oh you want water? Well that'll cost you more."
ReplyDeleteWe need to demand to see the list of projects and their deadlines that will be covered by the $800 MILLION dollar GO Bonds. Council people -- do your job.
