TKC SUNDAY SPECIAL!!! JACKSON COUNTY INSIDER: EXPECT VEHICLE PROPERTY TAX SPIKE AMID COURTHOUSE ASSESSMENT DEPARTMENT STAFFING CRISIS!!!
Everyday residents are mostly removed from the constant political intrigue and fighting betwixt the Legislature and the County Exec as of late.
For most voters, the slapfight has been a sideshow and something that they don't really understand.
The crisis at the jail threatens local finances but the story of rampant human rights abuses and horrific accusations of brutality, sadly, don't resonate among the every day lives of voters.
However, thanks to KICK-ASS TKC TIPSTERS we're getting FIRST WORD on a crisis that's low-key but far more insidious and presents a clear & present danger to Jackson County wallets.

A COURTHOUSE INSIDER WARNS VOTERS OF DRAMATICALLY RISING PERSONAL PROPERTY TAXES FOR VEHICLES THANKS TO A JACKSON COUNTY CASH CRUNCH AND STAFFING CRISIS!!!
Long-term Jackson County employees have been shifted around because of changing political alliances and staffers with expertise in vehicle taxation appraisals and accounting are being moved behind the scenes . . .
Another shocker, so many JaxCo residents with old school cars are going feel this high tax bite FIRST . . .
"Jackson County will limit reductions for vehicles with high miles, salvage titles, etc like they have in many years past."
The motive for this JACKSON COUNTY VEHICLE PROPERTY TAX INCREASE ON THE SNEAK is the growing need for cash amid ongoing legal trouble at the jail which only stands to grow worse along with emergency renovations to avoid further litigation.
Moreover, these complaints among rank & file workers have resonated with the Legislature and seem to be powering their full-scale war with County Exec Frank White that continues to worsen . . .
