City Union Mission is a great place to start for those fortunate enough to offer help to feed the growing number of Kansas City hobos and THE WORKING POOR who are mostly victims of wage-theft by their employers.
The list doesn't stop there but there's always an opportunity to offer people a hand-up during the holiday season and beyond.
And so tonight we dedicate this playlist to some of the saddest soul-crushing songs on the topic of poverty that SHOULD always be in the back of the minds of locals during otherwise insufferable Thanksgiving rituals.
