The 'Power Of The Sister Vote' Study Threatens Democratic Party Domination Of Urban Core Politics In Kansas City And Across The Nation

An important bit of research sent our way that presents an alternative perspective on the changing politics of the urban core amid the partisan fight against the Administration of Prez Trump . . .

This research has a local connection given that one of the authors of the study is former prominent local resident Holli Holliday.

Here's the money line from "Power Of The Sister Vote" research . . .

“The percentage of black women who said neither party represents them jumped from 13 percent in 2016 to 21 percent in 2017.”

This not so fun fact holds consequences locally and across the political spectrum amid elections that are increasingly reliant on identity politics.

  1. What? Hillary not part of the Sisterhood?

I think government should be run by women & the military run by men. I think that optimizes the talents of each. But, to have a women president we must have a women run. I suggest someone new.

  3. Actually neither political party represents the great majority of people in the country.
That's why their ranks continue to dwindle and the voters who register as independents continues to grow.
And as long as the political "insiders" insist on talking among themselves in the usual echo chambers, that phenomenon will continue.
    Tone deaf and clueless.

  4. Two things have ruined this country. The first was bringing the Negroes over from Africa supposedly to get free work out of them. That is the worst deal this country ever made. The second was giving women the vote. The long-term damage from these two screw-ups be the undoing of America.

  5. In the end, they will vote for whomever Al, Jesse and the other overseers tell them to. They won't let the Sisters wander too far off the Democratic Party Plantation.

  6. #1 sign a white person doesn't know any black people? When they cite Al or Jesse. Almost never see a black person bring them up.

Duh, are some blacks just now finding out it was the democratic party who was for slavery, but also wanted their votes during the so called war on poverty only to turn on them?
