South Kansas City Cry For Help!!!

A corporate giveaway continues in this neglected part of KCMO that is now LITERALLY being sold out by City Hall . . .

SKC Advocate: A Giveaway is Progress?

"KC wants to give 95 acres to Lee’s Summit just because a developer asked for it.

"We’re not expanding economic opportunities in South Kansas City as promised with the Cerner project. The Lee’s Summit proposal, east of View High Drive and north of I-470, calls for a mixed-use development which would include sports fields and dining, entertainment, office, lodging, and multi-family living options. This would be in direct competition with the SKC area; therefore, leaving little feasibility for that promised development."
