NEWSFLASH: THERE'S NOT ENOUGH PARKING ON THE WESTSIDE TO ACCOMMODATE EPIC BIZ INCUBATOR!!!

We'e talked to more than a few denizens of our blog community on this topic and they all express one concern that so many biz-class journalists are missing . . .

THERE'S NOWHERE NEAR ENOUGH PARKING ON THE WESTSIDE TO HANDLE THIS KIND OF BIZ PARK TRAFFIC!!!

On the bright side, the HEDC doesn't have a great track record of independent projects so it may be another half century until they actually get something build . . . BUT this is yet another Kansas City development story that doesn't pass the smell test. The reality is that unless they plan to bulldoze a great many low-income houses . . . (Which is kind of a tragic goal for a minority biz firm) . . . Then they don't have the capacity for this project . . . You decide:

Work begins on Center for Urban Enterprise on KC's West Side - Kansas City Business Journal

Construction officially begins Monday for a new center to boost Hispanic entrepreneurs in Kansas City. The Hispanic Economic Development Corporation planned a 9 a.m. groundbreaking for a new Center for Urban Enterprise at 2720 Jarboe St. The project will include renovating an existing industrial building at the location to serve as a small business incubator, complete with a kitchen, office space and business experts.
