Municipal leaders meet to discuss controversial Buck O'Neil Bridge funding request

Maintenance issues associated with Kansas City's 61-year-old Buck O'Neil Bridge continue to pit municipalities against each other for federal transportation dollars, as local officials meet Monday to discuss solutions. Area mayors and representatives from the Mid-America Regional Council will discuss ways to pay for a new bridge along Broadway.

  9. there is simply a delay in appropriating the funds. The city first needs to establish the cost of moving the bridge to the boon baseball museum and they have to find a scheme to build an addition large enough to hold it. This is Kansas City. We don't so shit without the appropriate level of Africant-American Engineering.
