Iranian man is kicked off Greyhound bus to KC despite producing a ticket, video shows

An Iranian Ph.D. candidate from Texas was kicked off a Greyhound bus last week on the way to Kansas City, cellphone video shows. Mohammad Reza believes his nationality and name are the only two explanations for the treatment, according to NBC DFW, a Dallas- and Fort worth-based NBC affiliate.

  4. The Star will never let facts get in the way of their preferred narrative. I'll bet there is more to this story than Reza or the Star wants us to know. Bus drivers do not stop in the middle of nowhere, awake a sleeping passenger and toss him off the bus. Fellow passengers do not gang up on someone who has done nothing. Drivers and passengers both want to get to their destinations quickly and uneventfully. Quality journalists would follow up with the rest of the story. But that has nothing to do with the Star.

  5. You know, if the Iranian doesn’t like the way he is treated here, he can always go back to Iran.

  9. Channel 4 reported the camel hum, er, customer, had a "copy" of an electronic ticket. Right on camera was shown a creased 8 & 1/2 X 11 page somewhat grainy copy. Seems sketchy that this is being blamed on a raaaaaaycis bus employee. So, is said employee really that willing to lose a job over this supposed sand, uh, Iranian victimization?

  10. Was he in the front of the bus or the back of the bus? One is OK, the other is not...
