  1. Would be interested to see if police will rush the protesters away this year. BLM has created a few disturbances in the past few years. Minor but still annoying. This might be the beginning of the end of those demonstrations with a new Chief.

    1. I wouldn't bet on it. We still have freedom of speech in this country.

  2. As a huge supporter of Christmas and everything fun and awesome about it I have never gone to the Plaza lighting event. For one as a rule I am serving dinner about that time or am pleasantly stuffed full of all kinds of good food and for sure not wanting to go get in a huge crowd after hunting for a parking place for who knows how long unless I got there 4 hours before hand which I'm not going to do. To be honest I don't really see anything spectacular about it. Flip a fake switch and on comes what we have all seen for a good many of us all our lives. The hype just isn't there but then anymore thats typical Kansas City for ya.

  3. Amazing anyone bothers to go to a brick and mortar store anymore for black friday. There's much better deals online and not just on cyber monday.

  4. I will be at the Plaza lighting, Drunk like every year. The next day I will drink whiskey and go shopping at Oak Park and ogle all the hot sluts. Friday night and Saturday night I will go to Westport and pick up sluts and drink whiskey and have sex. Without booze nothing would be as fun as it is.

  8. For once I completely agree with Super Dave, except for his last sentence. The hype is there, and that's the problem with it.
