Kansas City leaders want to host NFL draft

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Kansas City City Manager Troy Schulte showed his hand Wednesday morning when he tweeted his intention to try to sell the NFL on Kansas City as a future host city for the NFL Draft.

  1. Hey, our new KCI won't be finished in time to impress our visitors. No can do on being the NFL Draft city. Also, we need two more new hotels and more toy train tracks. It's going to be decades before we are ready to be a 1st Class City, folks.

  6. OK let me get this right. The Republicans wont have a convention here. The NCAA has packed up and left. The FAA is long gone. We couldn't get an NBA team. The Southern Poverty Boons Association canceled out. We could not get the Super Bowl and we are going to loose the NFL draft. If the Shrine Circus cancels it is time to shut KC down.
