First murder in Blue Springs in 2017: Man shot in restaurant parking lot

BLUE SPRINGS, Mo. -- Gunfire in a restaurant parking lot at 1512 NW Woods Chapel Rd., killed one man Thursday morning at about 11:15. According to Blue Springs Chief of Police Bob Muenz, the victim was in a white van when he was shot by a gunman either inside or just outside his vehicle.
