Bend over KC. I smell a work up and a snow job pitch at a new tax proposal.

I agree with 9:34 . Just dial 1911 first then you can call the non emergency number

KCPD is a total loss and a waste of money.

The 911 call wait times are unacceptable....
they must have work around the clock to figure that one out. Or maybe they had to hire a consultant to tell them that.

4:43 You are right! but hey thats why I live outside the 911 KCMO call zone, if any of you KCMO residents have any serious existing medical problems, you might consider moving to a suberb or town that is serious about public saftey!! KCFD loves saving their wages and their jobs via the power of their Union, and at the end of the day (unless saving your ass ends up on the news) They really could give less than 5 shits about the citizens who pay their wages.

stop using resources investigating crimes in the hood and we will save several million right there.

Then even if they did get the MONEY, within 2 years, they'd be complaining they need more and having to lay off more personel, nothin' but lies & excuses out of this bunch of Ba'foons !!!!

Maybe to pay for the improvements they could sell ads that would run on the 911 line. You would have to listen to a 30 second "My Pillow" ad before you explained your emergency.

What we really need is a commitment not to send officers so we can clean up these thugs without interference.
