    The Jehovah Witnesses don't stand for the national anthem or recite the Pledge of Allegiance because they see jingoism as a false religion & flag worship as heresy.

  4. Football, hockey, and boxing -- all sports dedicated to hitting your opponent SO HARD that they are knocked out of the contest. Do the fans love to see this kind of violence? Yeah, because without the blood and concussions, it would be boring. The more hits, the more the fans cheer. Americans LOVE their blood sports.
