Authorities asking for tips in murder of a man who was out walking his dog
The Kansas City Police Department is asking for tips in the August shooting of a man who was out walking his dog. Police said Derell Simmons was walking his dog in the 9800 block of Newton around 9 p.m. on August 31 when he was shot.
It will stay a cold case if KCPD is involved.
