Kansas City's Mayor Reviewed Scores of Amazon Products in Sneaky Pitch for Company's HQ2

Sly James, the mayor of Kansas City, Mo., is courting Amazon's much-coveted second headquarters in a highly tailored medium-the site's own product reviews section, where he's been leaving 5-star reviews for scores of items his office recently purchased. 1. There is no chance Amazon is coming to this crime ridden shithole no matter how much our corrupt mayor promises them

  2. I can't believe he thinks rating products is going to mean anything, but you have to give him credit at least he's trying, even if he doesn't know how to promote the city. Sad but funny at the same time.

  3. 6:43am is certainly right.
But words like "sad" and "funny" hardly describe serious or effective leadership.
More like amateurish, silly, embarrassing, and pathetic.
Surprising that Sly didn't dance or sing as he typed his reviews.
    Carnival barking at its best.

  4. Seems to me the mayor just doesn't have enough work to do.

  5. How f**king humiliating!
How much tax money was spent on this embarrassing pile of steaming manure?
Surely Barkley didn't charge for this, but even so, thy must wince at having their name linked to such a ridiculous and groveling campaign! How many potential clients are laughing at Kansas City (and at Barkley) right now?

  6. Propaganda, indeed. That fat twat of a Mayor has on a Fitbit in the marketing photo. If that’s not propaganda I don’t know what is. Lol
