TKC QUESTION: WILL YOU SUPPORT KANSAS CITY CHIEFS IF MARCUS PETERS NATIONAL ANTHEM PROTEST PERSISTS???

This morning lets discuss a question of ethics and hypocrisy which confronts Kansas City football fanboys.

In the affirmative . . .

KANSAS CITY CHIEFS FANS WHO CONTINUE TO SUPPORT THE TEAM AMID THE ONGOING NATIONAL ANTHEM PROTEST OF MARCUS PETERS ARE HYPOCRITES IF THEY DON'T ACKNOWLEDGE THEIR OWN COMPLICITY!!!

Mr. Peters has been somewhat clear about his protests and continued despite fan outrage.

Chiefs fans can no longer claim to be shocked by his actions, he has been consistent.

However . . .

IF CRITICS OF NATIONAL ANTHEM PROTEST AREN'T SO OFFENDED THAT THEY'LL ABANDON TAILGATING & GOOD TIMES. . . THEN THEY'RE BASICALLY CONDONING CONTINUED DISRESPECT DESPITE EMPTY TALK OF PATRIOTISM!!!

Because anyone who isn't offended enough to put down the hot wings, really isn't that offended . . . And this is what the NFL & the Chiefs have counted on so far.

Check the links . .. .

WaPo: Chiefs' Marcus Peters sits during anthem before NFL's first regular season game

Fox4: Chiefs fans sound off after seeing Marcus Peters sit during National Anthem

SB Nation: Peters joins players like Michael Bennett, Marshawn Lynch, Malcolm Jenkins, and others who will be protesting during the 2017 NFL season.

  1. This is Kansas City.

Nobody puts down their hot wings.

    1. He can take Kelce with him. The guy gets stupid penalties all the time, more important to him to act as if he were a bad ass even though it costs his team a chance to win.

  3. What would the Chiefs do if the police refused to work off duty for them. They aren't required to spend their time off at the stadium. No more escorts, or officers in the stadium. Just a couple of games without thisencops and it would be a nightmare in the stadium. I would support the officers!!!!

  4. I'm pro America but why do we have the national anthem before sporting events and not at the beginning of the symphony? It is just an arbitrary time to have a mandatory show of patriotism.

    ReplyDelete
  5. Here are guys making millions a year playing a game, for god's sake, and they're "protesting" what exactly?
They have lots of free time in the off season to actually roll up their sleeves and contribute to the community, but you rarely see any of them doing that unless there's a television camera around.
And poor ole middle America KC just can never come up with anything original, so football player "protests" are already old, boring, and meaningless even before they get here.
He's easily replaceable and will be soon and then he'll have a chance to play the race card.
Squandering opportunities seems to be one talent a lot of these clowns have in common.

    1. You absolutely have the right to protest I'm all for it but not when you're on the clock. I cannot protest while I am at work when I'm off work I can do anything I want

  6. The NFL loves to pay lip service to the veterans but they allow this?

    ReplyDelete
  7. Yes, because this is America. Forced patriotism belongs in North Korea. Who cares? If you say you do...you're a liar. You only pretend to care because it's a black man making the statement, and you hate that...admit it! I'm a veteran, and I encourage everybody to do whatever they want during the anthem. That's what America means.

  8. I have not supported the NFL for some time and this will not help in anyway getting me to be a fan again.

The current fan base will piss and moan about it but in the end will do nothing about either.

So Peters will continue to act like a asshole and the fans will still throw their hard earn dollars at him.

    ReplyDelete
  9. If you're outraged over this and still finish the anthem with Home of the Chiefs, joke's on you.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Vote with your butts and TV. The NFL takes funds from taxpayers and gives to rich owners and roided players with room temp IQs. Who needs them?

    ReplyDelete

  11. Who's Marcus Peters?
Are the Chiefs still in town?
Haven't they been able to fid a buyer yet?

Oh, well at least there isn't any City, County or State money being spent to support a bunch of asswipes playing some kid's game!

    ReplyDelete
  12. @7:39am
    "It's a black man making a statement".
    About what, exactly?
Talk is cheap, especially when you don't even talk, but instead put on a silly show for the cameras.
Why not make a statement by actually DOING SOMETHING?
All this marching around and protesting anything and everything that comes along and then making believe that the little shows are all about "rights" is childish.
    Grow up.

    ReplyDelete
  13. I didn't watch them last night, not planning on watching the rest of the year.

    ReplyDelete
  14. @8:13AM - if it's childish why do you care? You shouldn't care. Last time I checked, Peters is an American, and he can do whatever he wants. If you don't like it, that's YOUR problem. Don't you have anything better to worry about. You need to grow up!

Chiefs are UN-American and un-grateful to the men and women who gave their service and lives for our freedom, if they keep this LOSER!

You spend your Sundays enriching Clark hunt and a bunch of ungrateful baby hood rat jigs. Snarfing down hot wings and barbecue and slapping the shit out of your old fat ass old ladies. I'm sure you're always careful not to get blood stains on their hood rat jersey's that you dropped a bill on. God you're sick sick sick sick. Get a life losers stand for something

  17. 5:38, I agree with you. I'd like to reserve the national anthem for special occasions. As for Peters, I'd like to hear him explain exactly why he's sitting. Likely as not, his explanation will include BLM propaganda like "hands up don't shoot," which was exposed as a lie long ago. Expose his protest for the bullshit that it is.

    ReplyDelete
  18. ^8:23, Yeah, sure, he can do WHATEVER he wants...even sit on his ass as a statement, because that's so productive and admirable .

By the way, what's the name of his charity, how many scholarships does he fund, how often does he do community projects, and does he benefit at risk youth?

    ReplyDelete
  19. Hey Peters go to Uganda and see what they pay there to play children's games, a-hole.

    ReplyDelete
  20. He benefits his bankroll and his cock, fucking trashy fat nasty white bitches. That's the extent of his community involvement. Nothing

    ReplyDelete
  21. 8:13 - Just curious, what would you recommend he do, rather than sit during the anthem? Maybe he should carry flowers in his Mercedes (or whatever luxury vehicle he drives) to hand out when he's pulled over because, damn, dudes gotta be a drug dealer, right? Whatever he does, your whiny ass is gonna whine. But please, enlighten me on how black folks got nothing to complain about, they're only profiled because they fit the profile, right? Michael Bennett just proved the point. The color of your skin is everything.

  22. It's hilarious listening to all you proud Americans voice your displeasure over whether or not a football player chooses to sit or stand during the anthem. You all proclaim to be patriotic Americans, but express outrage over an player choosing to express his individual rights guaranteed under the Constitution of the United States. You all are the biggest bunch of hypocrites I have ever seen. You're all for freedoms but freedoms expressed your way. I support him and anyone else who chooses to sit, stand, talk, fuck, or raise a fist during the anthem. You should too.

  25. I wont support the Chiefs, I wont ever vote to maintain the stadiums and I sure as hell wont be bragging up that scrupleless fucktard Clark Hunt.

To address earlier comments. KCPD officers will never make a choice between values and a chance to make good money. We are not talking about a department that made its name standing for integrity here. They'll let Hunt hump the Cheerlears on the fifty yard line at halftime if they are getting paid.

Same situation with the fans. These millennial fucktards have no scruples. They live by the "Me, Me, Me" rules and as long as they get theirs they will cash in their values in a flash. Hell just look at the modern day corporate workforce. These fucks have no nads and would sell thier mothers to have their way. They just don't grasp the overall cost (to society) of letting this subversive shit go on.

There was a day when these fucking protesting shitflakes would have been tarred, feathered and ran out of town. Today we have a whole political party kissing their arses for the sake of scraping up votes from the low feeders.

Using the anthem to sell more beer and fantasy football hits, defaming it by shouting CHIEFS is the 'Merican Way, I suppose.

Why show those who sit/kneel? Other than throwing a little gas on the fire.

    Get over it snowflakes.

  27. You don't have to like it, but you have to accept it. It's the American way.

    ReplyDelete
  28. It's a very strange notion that someone can "do anything he wants" because "he's an American".
And, actually and more importantly, he's an EMPLOYEE.
He works for an at-will employer who can set expectations and rules and offers continued employment only so long as the employee's benefits to the organization outweigh the minuses.
There are literally thousands of organizations in KC which offer all kinds of help and services to at-risk and needy people, regardless of race, and they can always use additional financial resources and volunteers.
    Empty gestures are just that.
    Empty.
    The fantasy of "celebrity".
    Charity begins at home.

  29. Peters' actions are just ignored by the vast majority of Chiefs fans. If he has a season-ending injury, most won't feel any sympathy for a multi-millionaire prima dona. He's an inconsequential player who wouldn't be missed and whose antics are really just an irrelevant sideshow.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Only you people care. The owners don't care if he sits or stands, why would they? They only care about making money. They inserted the national anthem into sports and sold it as your patriotic duty to support the game and you people bought it. Let's set a few things straight so we don't have to repeat this again. 1.) You people(fans) don't matter. You never have, you never will. The whole pie-in-the-sky "Ill quit watching and supporting them" is a lie and you know it and worse, the owners know it. 2.) The players don't care about you, they never have, they never will. Money, fame, and pussy is all that matters to a professional athlete. You don't make the list. 3.) the owners don't care about you. You are nothing but a dollar sign. You exist to be fleeced of your money and blackmailed for your taxes. Nothing more.

In my country I cannot sue the police if they mistreat me after a bad traffic stop, they may shoot me on principle for whining of excessive force. I won't enjoy such privilege as trump has stripped me of my DACA status. You don't know how good you have it in this country.

  50. The NFL is the trashiest group in pro sports. They make NASCAR look sophisticated. Take a bunch of thugs, most that should be in prison, and pay them millions to play the dumbest game ever created, then in their off time they can rape, rob and pillage, all while being idolized by the proletariat, who will spend the last dollar they have on a hat, ticket or jersey. Any time I see someone with Chiefs gear on their person or vehicle, I know that it's a pathetic soul who feels a kinship with the other losers that make the pilgrimage to Camarohead on game days.

    ReplyDelete
  51. ^^^ the NFL is the second trashiest group in pro sports. The NBA is the worst.

    ReplyDelete
  52. ^^^ Believe it or not the NBA is the only professional league in the USA where all players are required to stand and be respectful during any anthems, US or Canada. Players who refuse to stand for the US or Canadian anthem (when applicable) can face fines or league discipline.

Like all things in America, it was contracted. The NBA has a union and it was collectively bargained for during their last labor contract.

The NFL and MLB and NHL have no provisions.
