TKC EXCLUSIVE!!! KANSAS CITY INSIDER REVEALS TOP FIVE REASONS FOOTBALL NATIONAL ANTHEM PROTEST IS DOOMED!!!

In the wake of NFL protests during the National Anthem there has been talk of patriotism and 1st Amendment Rights but it's good old fashioned American greed that will ultimately settle this debate according to a TOP ECHELON KANSAS CITY INSIDER.

"The protests are a flop and they won't last in the long run. There are a lot of contributing factors to this but the main point is simple: NFL players like getting paid big bucks most of them are not willing to jeopardize that in the name social justice."

First up, a quick review . . . Some people STILL don't understand why the players are protesting. Here's a summary that's somewhat fair to both sides: NFL protests 2017: What are players protesting when kneeling for the national anthem?

Quick explanation . . .

"Some have said that the players are attempting to disrespect the country, national anthem, flag, and military by taking a knee — that is incorrect. Part of the confusion came from initial misunderstanding, and it grew when Trump spoke at his rally in Alabama.

"The players are simply protesting systemic oppression against people of color, police brutality, and the criminal justice system. The national anthem is just the vehicle for the protest."

Now, some examples and evidence of why that's not going to work . . .

By And Large Football Fans Do Not Support Protests During The National Anthem

"We can debate attendance and ratings during the protests. But even the most die-hard liberals understand that football fans are GENERALLY Conservative, object to anthem protest and disagree that the U.S. is systemically unfair," said the KC Insider.

This fact of life is exemplified by Tomahawk Native American disrespect that's a proud, intolerant Kansas City tradition.

Hoopz Doesn't Watch Football

KC Insider: "If more fans tune out or skip games, is JeneĂ© Osterheldt going to pick up the slack? Is she going to go out an buy a Marcus Peters jersey??? Or a few thousand of them?" CNN pundits have been touting NFL unity against President Trump but that probably doesn't translate to the fan base even if owners and players oppose White House criticism of national anthem protest."

MAIN POINT: MOST NFL PLAYERS ARE GREEDY JERKS UNWILLING TO SACRIFICE CASH FOR SOCIAL JUSTICE!!!

Caveat . . . NFL players raise a lot of cash for charity and a few of them do great volunteer work as well.

HOWEVER, this Kansas City Insider offers an important reality check that's much more clear than PR gestures:

"I don't see these players giving up their contracts to go protest in the streets. They like nice cars, big houses, etc. They aren't going to leave that to work for equality full time."

There's a lot of evidence to support this statement but Travis Kelce dancing with his extensive collection of classic Air Jordans and limited edition vintage sneakers kinda proves the point . . .

Similarly, a note about consequences . . .

Nobody Wants To Miss Out On Opportunity Like Colin Kaepernick

KC Insider: "Again, given that protests are unpopular among NFL fans and a pretty good QB has sacrificed his career for his politics . . . How many people are willing to make that same choice? They're probably not going to like life on the college lecture circuit or flipping burgers. What other skills do protesting NFL players have that will pay them the same kind of money they're making in football??? In the end, you have to know your audience. Don't believe me? Go ask the Dixie Chicks about making their fans angry."

In conclusion . . .

One Of The Highest Paid Athletes In The World Is On Team Trump

KC INSIDER: "Professional sports is about money and nobody understands that better than Floyd Mayweather -- A very early and continued supporter of President Trump. Mayweather knows sports fans, he understands the game and gives people what they want to see . . ."

An example  of this truism . . . A big part of the disappointing but still record breaking Mayweather vs. McGregor show was a very well dressed Irish dude firing off a torrent of insults whilst the champ mostly stood silent. Astute observers might remember that the insults seemed remarkably similar to a campaign speech which recruited pay-per-view subscribers rather than voters.

"Yes, I'm sure he cried all the way to the bank. And he only had to carry the guy for the last 7 rounds," the Insider remarked on the spectacle that generated more than $700-million in earnings for a single night.

Fun fact BTW, Floyd Mayweather says he's a billionaire and even if he's lying, he's still closer to it than any other professional athlete currently competing at the top of their game or taking a knee in protest.

And so, for these reasons and many more . . .

NFL PROTEST DURING THE NATIONAL ANTHEM IS DOOMED!!! LOCAL INSIDERS AND MEDIA PLAYERS ARE ALREADY TALKING ABOUT HOW THEY'RE GOING TO MOVE PAST THE UNPLEASANTNESS!!!

Already the Steelers are backing off protest and soon other teams INCLUDING the Kansas City Chiefs will follow suit.

Developing . . .

The occasional patriot comes along that thinks for himself is something that we have to deal with. For that, I've got a bunch of dullards writing for newspapers and blathering on on talk radio. God help me if they ever figure out the difference between nationalism and patriotism.

    Nonsense.

    1) "Protests are a flop ..." What happended Sunday contradicts that. Over two hundred players knelt, & it's spreading to other sports, even cheerleaders are taking a knee.

    2) "By & large football fans do not support protests during the national anthem." Irrelevant. If it was universally applauded it wouldn't be a protest, & the reasons for the protest probably wouldn't exist, either.

    3) "Hoopz doesn't watch football." Really? How is this a reason the protests will fail? The reason there is a protest is the racism revealed in this comment. Just another white man telling people what to do.

    4) "MAIN POINT: MOST NFL PLAYERS ARE GREEDY JERKS UNWILLING TO SACRIFICE CASH FOR SOCIAL JUSTICE!!!" And you know this, how? See reason 1's rebuttal.

    5) "Nobody Wants Miss Out On Opportunity Like Colin Kaepernick" Same nonsense as reason 4. The tale is not yet ended.

In all of this nonsense the writer acts like he knows all of these players, personally. He is seeing this through the eyes of his racism.

The protest will not die soon. For one, Der Fuhrer needs the deflection. He can wave the flag while insulting CMOH POW's, Gold Star Families, etc.

    The post was racist nonsense.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Well Alejandro Villanueva would like to thank the rest of the NFL players, his teammates and his coach for making him the 6th best selling jersey in the NFL.

The only player to have the backbone to stand for the anthem was thrown under the bus by his own coach, forced to apologize to the press. Now a lowly offensive linemen who isn't that good has one of the top selling jersey's in the NFL.

Villanueva is thanking Mike Tomlin and the rest of his teammates for making him look good.

  24. BRYON your post talks a lot and says nothing.

You're wrong on the cheerleaders taking a knee, there has been only one at Georgia Tech and maybe one at a high school, and guess what they are black imagine that.

As far as Kap goes this started out as a fight against cops and now has turned to something completely different, Which is it with you people????

As far as Trump goes he needs no deflection from anything, nor has he insulted POW'S or Gold Star Families! THAT'S A LIE.

The post racist nonsense????? YOUR post is racist, and mine will be too. Yes black people are hated in this country, they are spoiled rotten lazy people, and I could go on and on.

Lets talk again about who insulted the American people!!!! Obama while golfing took less that 5 minutes to address an American who got his head cut off by Obama's ISIS and got back on his golf cart and went back to playing.

BRYON stop trying to destroy our country if you don't like it here then you need to leave we are NOT going to put up with your crap! This country has been good to kap among other black people, and Kap is not only greedy but the lowest form of SCUM!

Most likely cheerleaders are on both knees with some black running back standing in front of her with his schlock hanging out.

  31. @Bowtied Silverback, that's the reason he has a top selling jersey. Villanueva turned into a martyr for patriotism. Tomlin made him apologize because he made the rest of the Steelers look bad by being a patriot.

  37. I don't get the "free speech" argument. Can you do or say anything at your work. When you are on the clock, you don't have free speech. Your employer has the right to determine your speech and behavior if he/she is paying you. If that offends you, then quit your job and find one more suited to your opinions. How's that "outraged" behavior working for Colin?
