The Summer of 2017 hasn't been so sweet for the Kansas City toy train streetcar as ridership begins it's cold weather plummet just a bit early.
To wit . . .
FOR THE FIRST TIME KANSAS CITY TOY TRAIN STREETCAR SUFFERED A DECLINE IN RIDERSHIP THIS YEAR OVER LAST!!!
The news is well-hidden but thankfully AWESOME TKC TIPSTERS have shown us the way . . .

EVER SO SLIGHTLY . . . KANSAS CITY IS GETTING BORED WITH THE TOY TRAIN STREETCAR!!!
To be fair, the 2.32% YTD drop isn't a cause for panic but it is part of a significant plunge in cold weather ridership that we noticed last year and the data offers a bit of insight into why streetcar proponents are so desperate to destroy local Democracy in order to garner an extension and more riders.
