It's National Coffee Day and there are a ton of great local place to find a decent cup that are slightly better than gas station fare for those of us with a more refined palate.
However, even better than that is an AMAZING MOVIE DOCUMENTING THE KANSAS CITY COFFEE SCENE . . .
The reactionary thing to do here is rant against hipsters, baristas or the creative class. However, it's also inspiring to see locals working to craft something they love and create a community of enthusiasts who take pride in creating something unique in this town.
You decide . . .
No derogatory remarks about Hipsters, Barristas, or "The Creative Class", but never lose sight of the fact that you're not talking about Coffee, you're talking about HOT CANDY BARS IN A CUP!
