Man linked to Jessica Runions, Kara Kopetsky goes to trial in October for car burning
The man linked to a woman and teen girl found dead last year in rural Cass County will go to trial Oct. 23 for allegedly burning the vehicle of the woman. Kylr Yust, 29, is charged in Jackson County Circuit Court with burning a vehicle that belonged to Jessica Runions.

ReplyDeleteAs much as I want this piece of shit to die I'm afraid he'll walk. I don't know how much great evidence they have in him that isn't circumstantial. Yeah he has burns on his body and the dead girls car was burned, we all know he's guilty but by the letter of the law I worry he'll get away with two murders. How many others has he committed? No girl that crosses his path is safe.

ReplyDeleteLiberal here. This is one case where I favor the death penalty. Unfortunately, I don't think there is any way to prove him guilty of the murders, unless the police have evidence that the public doesn't know about.

ReplyDeleteYeah but they had Grissom on camera with girls and using their ATM cards. Again, I sure hope he goes to prison and dies but I'm worried he won't or will only do a little time. Hopefully they found that girl's DNA on him.

ReplyDeleteThis case has had so much publicity I don't know how he would ever get a decent trial that wouldn't possibly cause a turn over of the case by a higher court if he is found guilty.
ReplyDeleteArson is the hardest case to make in a court room with out some hard evidence to back it. Now as I understand it he isn't charged with arson but a lower Class E Felony which only carries a max jail time of 4 years.
If Jackson country screws this up, this guy will walk because it appears they don't have the evidence to charge this guy with murder of any kind. The guy is a freak no doubt and has no business being allowed out free on our streets. But I hope Mean Jean and the clowns don't really fuck this up.
If he walks, well then as tragic as it will be , its possible they will catch him when he kills the next young lady, and he will kill again and again so if you have young daughters when this serial killer to be gets out of jail, keep a close eye on your daughters!!

It's not like they were a couple of future rocket scientists. People die all the time in the ghetto and we don't just twist the rules to suit them.
I say let him stand trial and if he walks, he walks a 100% free man. Fuck this trial by the media bullshit.
