The cost of good life and a convenient location is far more than overpriced lofts, expensive artisan bread or pretending to like jazz. Here's a look at local newsies still trying to account for DAMAGE:
Vandals target parked cars near City Market and downtown area
Police aren't saying how many cars were targeted.
So what else is new.
ReplyDeleteWe had a serial killer in the park and they told everyone it was a random crime and the park was safe.
Of course this shit never happens in the Golden Ghetto.
ReplyDeleteWait until a police commissioner complains and then KCPD will be all over it.
ReplyDeleteNow that City Market has become a park and ride lot for the toy train, there will be more breeak-ins. The thieves know that the tourists are leaving stuff inside their parked cars.

ReplyDeleteWhy should KCPD do anything? You have a Mayor who lacks leadership, not to mention his son is a criminal, he cuts back police officers on the street! KCPD puts these people in jail only to have them let out within hours.
BTW, what happened in Central Hyde Park at 36th and Harrison Monday night??? Who hushed that story up. KCTV 5 said shots were fired and police were there. They said this was a developing story, and then nothing.
But hey, I guess they have to keep those houses selling at 200K over appraisal!
And we don't need a militia in this town, eh?
ReplyDeleteThey aren't ignoring it. They just haven't arrived on scene yet.
ReplyDeleteKCPD the Hee Haw Police Department.
